Hellooo everyone, welcome back to another week of practices. This past weekend we participated in Cleveland Height's Happy 5K and 10K races. Congrats to all of our runners that participated and those who placed top in age brackets!

For every practice this week, we are meeting at FRIEBERGER FIELD (the field next to Tink where the Activities Fair was), underneath the balcony. Just show up at the designated spot and time and join us for a run!

MLK Short (3.40 mi); meet at Tinkham Veale Center
 

Tuesday Afternoon (5:00 PM - 6:00 PM)
Wade Lagoon Loop (2.64 mi); meet at Tinkham Veale Center
 

Wednesday Morning (8:30 AM - 9:30 AM)
Hospital + Campus Loop (4.02 mi); meet at Tinkham Veale Center
 

Thursday Afternoon (5:00 PM - 6:00 PM)
Overlook Loop (3.82 mi); meet at Tinkham Veale Center
 

Saturday Morning (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
Overlook Extended Loop (4.46 mi); meet at Tinkham Veale Center
 

Looking Forward:

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Costume Run

This year, we are planning on doing an additional race for October, which is a Halloween run at the Zoo on October 25th. We will be getting costumes together some time before the race. Be on the lookout for an email with more information with an interest form if you are interested in running. And please indicate if you have a car and are able to drive people to this event. Drivers will receive an additional $5 discount on our member pricing.

SpartanTHON 5K

Want to take part in a race while donating to a greater cause? SpartanTHON partners with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to raise funds for UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, and this event is a fun way to support such an important cause. This event is not hosted by Run Club, which means there will be no group discount, club Google Form or CampusGroups event.

On a personal note: We've had amazing turnout this year, in particular with the first couple of races. Thank you to every one of you all who show up to practices, races, and other club events.
